Golden Back Tutorial

 

 

 

Materials:

DSB Flux

Bordermania

Animation Shop

Tube of choice

Font of choice

Open your tube.

Copy and paste it as a new image.

Resize if needed.

Duplicate your tube.

Go back to the tube on the bottom layer

Image – Resize – 200%, all layers Unchecked.

crop – merged opaque – apply

Texture effects – Mosaique Antique: 100/100/S/50/10/30

Texture effects – Mosaique Glass: 81/81/S/20/100/0/100

 

Add a new layer and drag it to the bottom.

Flood fill it with a gradient from 2 colors of your tube:

Linear: 45/1

 

Activate your Mosaique layer.

Selections – Select all – Float – Defloat.

Merge down.

Duplicate to a total of 3.

 

Filters – DSB Flux – Bright noise: Mix 38.

1 click on layer 1

2 clicks on layer 2

3 clicks on layer 3

Deselect.

 

Activate your top layer.

Add a drop shadow.

Duplicate to a total of 3.

Merge each top layer with 1 bottom layer.

Image – Canvas size:

Width +20

Height +20

Each side of your tag has now a 10px transparent border.

Activate your magic wand and select the transparent border.

Invert your Gradient and flood fill the border.

You have to flood fill all 3 layers.

Deselect.

Filters – Bordermania – Instant button 1: all settings at 43.

Apply this to all 3 layers.

Add a new layer and put your watermark on it.

Duplicate to a total of 3.

Merge each watermark with 1 merged layer.

Make sure your top layer is active and all layers are Unlocked.

Save as a .psp (AS) file.

Open Animation shop.

Open the file you just saved.

Select all.

Go back to PSP.

Find your font.

Type your name.

Duplicate to a total of 3.

Filters – DSB flux – Bright noise: same settings.

Apply to all 3 layers as described before.

Add a drop shadow to all 3 layers.

Activate your first text layer.

Edit – Copy.

Back to AS.

Paste as a new animation.

Back to PSP.

Activate your second text layer.

Edit – Copy.

Back to AS.

Paste after current frame.

Repeat this with the third layer.

Back to AS.

Select all.

Drag the text in the first frame to the first frame of your tag.

The other frames go automatically.

Preview your animation.

Save as a gif.
